Students who have grievances are advised to write only to The Director of National Institute of Management & Technology, giving their Name, Enrolment Number, Course of study etc., in the format provided Annexure-V for speedy Redressal. The students are advised not to write to any other officials of the National Institute of Management & Technology regarding any Grievance. Disputes
National Institute of Management and National Institute of Engineering adopts multimedia educational system consisting of printed Course material for self study and very encouraging facility for practical and personal contact programs and to evaluate lessons by faculty experts. SYLLABUS Universities recognized by UGC and Govt. of India Examinations. Learning material are specially prepared by the team of Experts from different universities, Institutions. All the self instructing Material is converted into Print Form & in CDs.
All disputes relating to admission, study, examination, issue of results, marks statements certificates and etc etc are governed by Civil Laws and Civil Courts only subject to BANGALORE Jurisdiction. For all said purposes, this Institution shall always sue & be sued – upon represented by its Director and thus no such legal proceedings shall be against any other Authorities / Officials of the National Institute of Management & Technology
PROGRAM EVALUATION The System of evaluation for Distance Education Students as per Rules of Distance Education Council New Delhi. The National Institute of Management and National Institute of Engineeringhas a 3-Tier System of evaluation • Self assessment exercise within each unit of study Material in SIMs Continuous Evaluation, mainly through Assignments Tutor Marked or Computer marked (CMAs) for Theory & Practical both of each Course and Seminar / Project / Field visit / Work Shop training. • The Term and Examination for Theory, Practical & Viva Voce will be as per rules of Institution. MARKS DISTRIBUTION AND MINIMUM PASSING MARKS For a Student to be declared passed, must secure minimum 40% marks in both continuous evaluation in the form of Assignment and Term End Examination separately and a total of 50% in each Course (Paper).
Notwithstanding the information given in the Prospectus / Information Brochure / Website, the National Institute of Management & Technology has the ultimate right to decide any issue as per its rules and regulations.
National Institute of Management & Technology or the Director or the Examinations Incharge are not responsible for the loss of or delay in the delivery of postal articles including original Titles, Diplomas or Certificates sent by the Directorate of National Institute of Management & Technology.
